Trojan.Bankpatch.Clif Norton indicates it infected "Powrprof.dll" but cannot automatically remove it / fix it.
How can I replace / repair "Powrprof.dll" ? Norton scan found a trojan and the removal process cannot be done automatically; the manual process instructs me to start the laptop with the Windows CD in place. I do not have a Windows disk. I am running Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron 6000. Is there another way to obtain the necessary files or make a disk in a clean machine? Thanks!
